Page Settings

Changing the page settings allows you to configure various properties related to the layout and appearance of your project page, which can be particularly useful when preparing for printing or exporting documents. Choose between pre-defined, standard paper formats or create custom page sizes by defining individual width and height values.

Paper Format

The Paper Format section allows you to choose a standard paper size or define custom dimensions for your page.

Pre-defined Formats

  • Select a pre-defined paper format from the Paper Format dropdown menu. This automatically sets the Horizontal and Vertical dimensions.

Here is a list of the available pre-defined paper formats:

Orientation

  • Choose between Portrait and Landscape orientation:

    • Portrait: The page is taller than it is wide.

    • Landscape: The page is wider than it is tall.

Custom Page Dimensions

It is possible to create a custom page format by simply overwriting the existing width and height values or changing the page unit.

  • Horizontal: Defines the size of the page along the horizontal axis.

  • Vertical:Defines the size of the page along the vertical axis.

  • Select the desired unit for the dimensions (e.g., mm, cm, inch) from the dropdown menus next to the input fields.

Scaling Factor

The scaling factor allows you to adjust the size of all objects on the page relative to their original size. To change the scaling factor enter a numerical value in the range between 0.6 and 2.0:

  • A value of 1 (the default) means objects are displayed at their original size.

  • A value greater than 1 will enlarge objects.

  • A value less than 1 will shrink objects.

This setting is useful for fitting more content onto a page or for improving readability when printing.
